Syncing using the Yahoo! Mail header in the Setup Wizard or CalDAV
Resolution
Yahoo! Calendar gives you two options for syncing your mobile device with Yahoo! Calendar: CalDAV and Yahoo! Mail header in the Setup Wizard.
The differences between the Yahoo! Mail header from the Setup Wizard and CalDAV:
- Yahoo! Mail header from the Setup Wizard:
- Allows you to sync both your Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Calendar information to your mobile device at one time.
- It's more stable: We recommend using the Yahoo! Mail header in the Setup Wizard for syncing to Yahoo! Calendar, as the Yahoo! Mail header is more stable. - CalDAV:
- Only allows you to sync your Yahoo! Calendar information to your mobile device. - Syncing protocols: Both are syncing protocols that many calendars use to make their data interchangeable with other calendars, including the Yahoo! Calendar.
For instructions specific to your device: Refer to your mobile carrier's product documentation, or the documentation belonging to your device's manufacturer.
To set up a sync with the more stable method using the Yahoo! Mail header in the Setup Wizard:
