Deleting a non-Yahoo! address or an extra email address from your account

How to permanently remove an extra email address and non-Yahoo! email addresses from your Yahoo! Mail account.

You can delete an extra email address or a non-Yahoo! Mail address in Yahoo! Mail.

To delete an extra email Address:

1. Go to Yahoo! Mail.
2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper-right corner of the window, and select Mail Options from the menu that appears.
3. Select Mail Accounts in the left column.
4. Select Yahoo! Mail Extra Address from the center column.
5. Select the trash can icon (Remove Account).
   - For The "One extra email address at a time, please window" opens.
6. Select Remove This Email Address.
7. Select Yes, Remove to confirm.
8. Select Done.
   - The window converts to a new Mail window asking you enter your password.
   - Your extra email address has been removed.

How to delete a non-Yahoo! Mail address:

1. Go to Yahoo! Mail.
2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper-right corner of the window, and select Mail Options from the menu that appears.
3. Select Mail Accounts in the left column.
4. Select the email address you would like to delete from the center column.
5. Select the trash can icon (Remove Account).
