Why won't Safari remember my username and password?

This help article will help you troubleshoot your computer and web browser settings when Safari doesn't remember your username and password for sign-in.
Resolution
If the Browser Autofill feature is not working when you have asked to have your ID and password remembered, you can try to fix this.
- Check the Remove History Items settings for Safari:
- On the Safari menu, click Preferences.
- Click the Autofill tab.
- Next to Remove History Items, you can select a longer time period to have your information saved.
- Close Preferences.
