This article will walk you through the steps to delete a contact from your Yahoo! Messenger list.

To delete someone from your Messenger List:

1. Click the contact's name while pressing the Control key to highlight the contact. (You can also right-click on the contact's name.)
2. Select Delete.
3. Click the Delete confirmation.

To delete someone using the Contacts menu:

1. Click the contact's name in your Messenger List.
2. Click the Contacts menu and select Delete.
3. Click the Delete confirmation.

• To send a message to a contact you deleted, click the Conversation menu, select New Conversation. Then type that person's Yahoo! in the Messenger ID box.
• The person you deleted from your Messenger List won't be notified of their removal from your Messenger List and will still be able to send you messages.
