An Internet-enabled mobile device

Most mobile web browsers available today can access Yahoo! mobile webpages by navigating to http://m.yahoo.com/. For smartphone and tablet device users, Yahoo! has released several apps that have been optimized for a variety of mobile operating systems which are downloadable via your devices app store Yahoo! currently offers apps for iOS, Android, and Windows 8 devices.

A data plan or Wi-Fi access

Yahoo! mobile apps and services are available to all who have data plans or Wi-Fi access. Data plans usually cost a small monthly fee in addition to your regular service. Please contact your mobile carrier or service provider for more information about plans and rates.

A mobile web browser

Mobile web browsers allow you to access webpages and services on your mobile device, just like web browsers on a desktop computer (e.g., Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.). If your device does not come pre-loaded with a mobile web browser (like Safari or Firefox), you can download one (we recommend Opera Mini, m.opera.com). Once you've chosen a browser, type in "http://m.yahoo.com/" and you're ready to go!
