Editing Yahoo! account information

Learn how to change the name, address, zip code, city, country, phone number, and alternate email address(es) listed on your Yahoo! account.
Resolution
Note: While these steps can be completed using most smartphone and tablet devices, we recommend making any changes to your account information with a desktop or laptop computer.
To edit your Yahoo! account information:
- On a desktop or laptop computer, visit the Yahoo! Account Information page.
- Enter your Yahoo! ID and password.
- Click the link for information you wish to edit:
- Edit profile details: Control whether or not your profile is public. If your profile is public, control which information people see.
- Update your contact information: Edit your name, address, phone number, or alternative email address(es).
- Change your password.
- Set language or timezone: Change the language that Yahoo! displays in, or the time zone for emails.
- Change sign-in settings: Your account automatically signs you out after a set time limit; change this time limit.
- After making the desired changes, click Save.
