To close your account, you must make the request in accordance with our policy.
You can cancel your service at anytime. You can cancel your account online by signing in to your Web Console and then selecting the "Close Account" option located under the Account Administration menu. Go to your Web Console at:

Cancellation can also be made through fax or regular mail. Correspondence for cancellation by fax (503-615-3886) or regular mail (Yahoo!, ATTN: Billing, 701 First Ave, Sunnyvale, CA, 94089) must include the following:
- Your account name.
- The valid signature of the primary contact.
- Your reason for cancellation.
- The last four digits of the credit card on file.
You are responsible for all money owed on your account from the time it was established to the time that cancellation has been confirmed by Yahoo! Website Services.
Transferring your domain from Yahoo! Website Services does not mean that your account is automatically canceled. You must notify us to cancel your account, using one of the methods explained above.
Yahoo! Website Services does not refund payment for partial months of service. Refunds will be paid only for full prepaid months of service. If a refund is due to you, it will be sent by Yahoo! Website Services check or made by credit card return within 30 days of receipt of cancellation.

Important: If a request to close your account is not received as outlined above, we will assume that you wish to continue using our services and, as such, will continue with normal billing procedures.
