What does it mean to have my logs rolled?

If your site attracts a lot of visitor traffic, your logs can quickly become very large. To keep your log files manageable, you can choose a time interval at which you will create a new log, or "roll" your logs. To choose how often you want to roll your logs:

  1. On the Home page of your Web Hosting Control Panel, in the Site Traffic module, click the "Detailed statistics" link, then click "Access Logs." (You can also find the "Access Logs" link on the Index tab under "Home.")
  2. Under "Access Logs Setup," select the time intervals at which you would like your logs rolled.
  3. Click "Update" to update your rolling times.
