Network Music lets you stream tracks from your Yahoo! Music collection to your stereo or sound system using a network media player. With Network Music, you can play songs you have imported from CDs or purchased from Yahoo! Music Unlimited. Yahoo! Music Unlimited subscribers can also play subscription music. You can also use Network Music to access music on other PCs on your home network or other local network that are running the Yahoo! Music Jukebox.
To get started using Network Music you need:
If you want to stream music between networked PCs, each computer needs to run the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, with Network Music turned on.
If you want to stream music to a home sound system, you also need a compatible network media player.
Launch the Yahoo! Music Jukebox and sign in. (Remind me how.)
To access Network Music, click Network Music in the left navigation pane.

The Yahoo! Music Jukebox's center pane changes to display information about your Network Music configuration.
If Network Music is turned off on your PC, select Preferences from the Edit menu.
Select the Network Music option in the Preferences window.
Select the Turn on Network Music option to enable Network Music on your PC.

To let others on your home network view and/or stream music from your computer, select the Allow people on my local network to option, plus one of the choices from the pull-down menu.

In the Display my computer name as field, you can rename your computer to something that you and others on your network will easily recognize.

Select options in the Sharing Options section to specify what part of your music collection to share with others. You can share your whole collection, or only specific playlists.

Tip: See the Sharing Playlists tutorial for information on ways to share your playlists outside of your local network.
When you're done setting your Network Music preferences, click the Apply button, then the OK button.
Other enabled computers on your network can now see and stream the music that you've shared.

Once Network Music is enabled, you can select your computer from the network media player and play playlists or songs to your stereo. You'll also be able to browse and play the music on other enabled PCs on your local network. Just click Network Music in the left navigation pane to see the rest of your network.
