Sharing a Playlist Using Email

If you'd like to share one of your playlists with several friends at once, you can easily do this by sending them an email message with a link to the playlist.

Here’s How

  1. Select the playlist that you want to share in the left navigation pane. (Remind me how.)

  2. In the playlist's display in the center pane, click the Email link above the playlist description.

Click the Email link above the playlist description.

The Yahoo! Music Jukebox's center pane displays a page for composing the email message to send to friends who might be interested in the playlist.

  3. Complete the form by supplying email addresses for the recipients and, optionally, a personal message. When the message is ready, click the Send button.

Yahoo! Mail sends your message, which includes a link to the playlist’s page, and displays a confirmation message in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox window.

  4. When your friend gets the email message, she can click the link it contains to access your playlist in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox.

If your friend doesn't have the Yahoo! Music Jukebox on his computer yet, he'll see a message inviting him to get it.

What’s Next

Copy the link (URL) to the playlist to insert it into an email message or to place it on your blog or website, so others can access it anywhere.
