Listening to Other Members' Stations

You can listen to other members' stations to explore more music. You can also listen to stations from your influencers. For more information on adding influencers, review the Making the Most of Your Music Profile tutorial.

Tip: You must be a LAUNCHcast Plus or Yahoo! Music Unlimited subscriber to listen to other members' stations.

 

Here’s How

  1. Click LAUNCHcast Radio (The LAUNCHcast Radio icon) in the left navigation pane.

  2. Click Member Stations in the Station Guide.

    Click Member Stations.

    The screen displays a list of members' stations.

  3. Click a member’s station to listen to music.

    Click a member’s station to listen to music.

    You can also select influencers and listen to their music stations.

  4. Click the Edit button to add Influencers.

    Select Influencers for your radio stations.

  • Influencer: Yahoo! Music members who you want to influence the music played on your LAUNCHcast Radio station and in My Recommendations.
  • LAUNCHcast plus: the premium, advertisement-free version on LAUNCHcast Radio.
  • Subscriber: a LAUNCHcast user who has chosen you to influence his or her LAUNCHcast Radio station. Songs, artists, and albums that you rate highly are periodically included on your subscribers’ playlists.
  • Yahoo! Music Unlimited: a collection of more than two million songs, available by subscription and for purchase through the Yahoo! Music Jukebox.
