Creating a Playlist From Now Playing

Now Playing is the Yahoo! Music Jukebox's scratch playlist. You can save the whole Now Playing scratchlist to a new, more permanent playlist; you can also select specific tracks from Now Playing to save.

Here’s How

  1. Add songs to Now Playing and arrange them as you'd like them to appear in the permanent playlist, as described in the Using Now Playing tutorial.

  2. Once the selections in Now Playing are set, click the Save to Playlist button to begin saving the entire list to a playlist.

Click the Save to Playlist button.

  3. In the Select a Playlist window that appears, select New Playlist, then click OK.

Select New Playlist, then click OK.

  4. Provide a name for the new playlist in the Create New Playlist window, then click OK.

Provide a name for the new playlist.

Your new playlist appears in the list of playlists.

The new playlist appears in the left navigation pane.

  5. To save just some of the Now Playing songs to a new playlist, first select the track or tracks that you want to save.

  6. Right-click a highlighted song, then select Add To > A Playlist from the menu.

Select Add To > A Playlist from the right-click menu.

Now you can create and name a new playlist to save the selected songs to, as shown above.

What’s Next
