A playlist is a list of songs that you can use in many ways to manage your music with the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Playlists organize sets of related music together, but they're much more than that. You also use playlists to copy files to portable devices or to burn your own CDs. You can even share your playlists with the entire Yahoo! Music community.

Your playlists can include songs from Yahoo! Music Unlimited, as well as songs you've added to the Yahoo! Music Jukebox from other sources. If you like a particular artist or song from Yahoo! Music Unlimited, you can generate a similar playlist, which is a list of songs or artists that you might also like. Any playlists that you create appear in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox's left navigation pane under Playlists.
You can access your playlists on any computer connected to the Internet that has the Yahoo! Music Jukebox loaded. Simply log in with your Yahoo! ID, and you'll see your own playlists!

(More Details)
A simple way to create a new playlist is to right-click Playlists in the left navigation pane, then select New Playlist.

The new playlist appears under Playlists, ready for you to rename.

Type a name for the new playlist, then press the Enter key.

The newly named playlist is now listed in the left navigation pane.

There are lots of ways to add tracks to a playlist once you've created it. One of the simplest ways is to drag the name of a song displayed in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox's center pane onto the name of the playlist. This could be any song listed in My Music or in Yahoo! Music Unlimited.

You can also drag multiple songs at once, as well as albums, artists, and even genres, to an existing playlist.
Select the name of a playlist in the left pane to see its details, including the songs that it contains, in the center pane.
Rearrange the tracks in a playlist by selecting and dragging them into the order you want.

At the top of the playlist view, you can optionally add a description to your playlist. Click the Save button when you're done entering the text.

Play the music in your playlist anytime in any of the following ways:
Double-click the name of the playlist in the left navigation pane.
Right-click the name of the playlist in the left navigation pane, then select Play.

With the playlist displayed in the center pane, click the Play Playlist button near the top of the display.

Use the 5-Band equalizer (located to the right of the song playing) to enhance your listening pleasure.
