Organizing Now Playing

If you care about the order in which the songs in Now Playing play, or if you want to create a more permanent playlist from the Now Playing scratchlist, you can first arrange the tracks in the scratchlist just the way you want them.

 

Here’s How

  1. Add as many tracks as you like to Now Playing. (Remind me how.)

    Tip: The same song can appear more than once in Now Playing.

  2. To rearrange songs in Now Playing, drag them up or down in the list.

    Drag songs up and down in Now Playing to rearrange them.

  3. Delete any songs that you don't want to keep on the temporary scratchlist by selecting them, right-clicking, and choosing Remove from the menu.

    Select Remove from the track's right-click menu.

    Tip: You can also delete a track by selecting it and pressing your computer's Delete key.

  4. To clear Now Playing completely and start over, click the Remove All Tracks button at the top of the list.

    Click the Remove All Tracks button.

    Note: If you’re not a subscriber, clicking this button starts the subscription sign-up process, which you have to complete in order to add music.

Words to Know

  • Burn: to copy music to a CD for playback through your home, car, or portable CD player.
