When you listen to songs, artists, and albums, Yahoo! Music provides lists of similar music. You can quickly explore new music that is similar to the music you already like to listen to.
You can also create similar playlists while you listen to songs and artists. Creating similar playlists is a powerful way to explore similar music and artists quickly.
To explore your similar music:
From Yahoo! Music Unlimited, select a song, artist, or album.
Double-click a song, artist, or album to see Yahoo! Music's lists of similar music.

The center pane of the Yahoo! Music window shows your selected music at the top and a list of similar music at the bottom.
You can also explore music in Now Playing.
In Now Playing, right-click a song and then select to view a song page, album page, or artist page.

The selected music page displays in the center pane with the selected song, album, or artist shown at the top and a list of similar music shown below.
You can further define how Yahoo! Music selects similar artists and albums.

Choose how you want Yahoo! Music to select similar music.
Your options include More Mainstream, More Obscure, or "right in the middle". Yahoo! Music uses your preference when choosing similar artists and albums.
To explore similar playlists:
Yahoo! Music provides you with a list of similar songs, artists, and albums when you listen to music. When you create a similar playlist, Yahoo! Music increases the number of similar artists and albums exponentially, providing you with a fast, quick way to explore music that's similar to the music you already like.
On the detail page for the song or artist, click the Create Similar Artist Playlist button or the Create Similar Song Playlist button.
Your similar playlist displays in the center pane.
