Burning CDs
What Can Be Burned?
Burning means copying music to a CD for playback using your home, car, or portable CD player. To burn CDs with the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, you need two things:
- A CD-recordable drive on your computer
- One or more burnable tracks stored in My Music
You don't have to be a Yahoo! Music Unlimited subscriber to burn CDs using Yahoo! Music Jukebox.
Tip: Yahoo! Music Jukebox Plus includes improvements to help you rip and burn CDs faster, split large playlists automatically, and print CD labels and CD cases. For more information, see the Yahoo! Music Jukebox Plus Help.

The burnable icon (

Two types of music in My Music are burnable:
- Music that you purchase from Yahoo! Music Unlimited. These songs are also known as burnable downloads.
- Music you import into My Music from a source other than Yahoo! Music Unlimited, such as from another CD or from your hard drive, is generally burnable. Individual song files, however, may have specific rights and permissions associated with them that could prevent you from copying them to a CD.
For details about how to add burnable music to My Music, see the Adding Music to Your Collection tutorial.
