One easy way to build up your music collection in My Music is to import songs from CDs that you own. When you add a CD track to My Music, you copy the full music file onto your computer's hard drive. You can listen to the imported tracks any time, whether or not you're connected to the Internet—no need to have a pile of CDs on your desk anymore!

The songs that you add to My Music from a CD are local music and are burnable.
Launch the Yahoo! Music Jukebox.
Insert your music CD into the computer's CD drive. The title of the CD appears in the left navigation pane.

Tip: If multiple titles are available for this CD, you may see a choice of titles. Select the one (if applicable) that's correct, or name the CD yourself where indicated.
Click the title of the CD to see the tracks (songs) it contains; these display in the Yahoo! Music Jukebox's center pane.

In the list of tracks, be sure that there are check marks next to the songs you want to import (and only those tracks). The Yahoo! Music Jukebox will copy only the selected tracks.

At the top of the window, click the Import button.

As the Yahoo! Music Jukebox copies your music, you can see the progress of the import at the bottom of the window.

When the import is done, the songs copied from the CD appear in My Music with the type "Imported" next to their names.
Not only can you listen to the imported tracks any time, you can also copy them from the Yahoo! Music Jukebox to your portable music player or even burn them to a new CD.
