Leaving a Voice Message

When you use Yahoo! Phone Out, you’re using your computer to call a phone. If the phone includes a message service or machine, you can leave a message just like you do with any other type of phone call. When you finish recording your message, hang up by clicking the End call button in the Call Window.

Click the End call button after leaving your message.

What’s Next

If you miss a call, the caller can leave you a voice message that you can listen to at your convenience. To learn more about voice messaging, see the Working With Voice Messaging & Call History tutorial.

Just as with a telephone conversation, either person can put the other on hold.
