RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication—a technology that Yahoo! provides free with Yahoo! Mail. It lets you subscribe to RSS feeds from web sites that provide frequently-changing content, such as news, weather, sports, and stock reports. When you subscribe to an RSS feed, instead of using your browser to visit each site you’re interested in, the content comes to you automatically through Yahoo! Mail (and appears as a series of article summaries).
Sign in to Yahoo! Mail.
On the folder list on the left side of the page, locate the All Feeds item, and click the arrow to its left.

The All Feeds item expands to display the list of feeds to which you’re currently subscribed. Yahoo! Mail includes a few feeds to get you started.

Click one of the feeds on the list.
Tip: An orange RSS icon (
) means that the feed has new articles you haven’t seen yet. A gray icon (
) means that you’ve already viewed the feed’s most recent articles.
Articles from that feed appear on the right. For some feeds, you’ll see the full articles; for others, you’ll see a list of article summaries.
To read the full article that you see summarized, click the article’s link in the summary list.

A new browser window opens and displays the selected article.
Tip: If you have a pop-up blocker turned on for your browser, you may have to configure it to allow pop-up windows from Yahoo! Mail before your RSS articles can display.
You can subscribe to an RSS feed to get the information you want or remove feeds you don’t want.
