Introducing My Music

My Music is the name of your personal music collection in the AT&T Yahoo! Music Jukebox. It's the place where all the songs you have imported from CDs, added from Yahoo! Music Unlimited, purchased, or otherwise downloaded are stored.

You manage all the music in your collection from the My Music view.

My Music contains bookmarks and local music.

My Music can contain two types of music:

  • Local music, that is, music that is stored on your computer's hard drive. You can listen to local music anytime, whether or not you're connected to the Internet.
  • Bookmarks to streaming media, that is, songs in the Yahoo! Music Unlimited library. You can only listen to bookmarked music when you're connected to the Internet.

Here’s How

  1. Click My Music in the left pane of the AT&T Yahoo! Music Jukebox to access your collection.

Select My Music to access your personal collection.

The default view shows you all the artists in your collection in the top left, and all songs in the lower pane.

  2. Click an artist's name in the upper left pane to see that artist's albums in the upper right pane, and the songs in the lower pane.

In the list's Type column, you can see whether a song in your collection is local (that is, Purchased, Imported, or Subscription) or bookmarked (Stream). The Burnable column tells you whether you can burn that track to CD.

  3. Right-click any song name in the lower pane and get information about the song, create a similar song playlist, and much more.

Use the right-click menu to get more information about a song.

Words to Know

  • Playlist: a list of songs that you assemble and organize. Use playlists to program your listening, as well as to copy files to portable devices or to burn your own CDs.
  • Stream: to play music from a server (for example, over the Internet) rather than from source files on your computer or from a CD.
  • Subscription music: songs added to My Music from the Yahoo! Music Unlimited library. You have access to this music as long as your subscription is current.
  • Yahoo! Music Unlimited: a collection of more than one million songs, available by subscription and for purchase through the AT&T Yahoo! Music Jukebox.
