Viewing Pop-Up Blocker History

Each time that you launch the AT&T Yahoo! Browser, the Pop-Up Blocker software begins tracking all the pop-up windows that it blocks, as well as those that it allows. You can review the history of blocked and allowed pop-up windows at any time during your session with the AT&T Yahoo! Browser.

Here's How

  1. Open the Pop-Up Blocker History window in one of the following ways:

    • Select Tools » Pop-Up Blocker » Show History from the AT&T Yahoo! Browser menu.

Select Pop-Up Blocker Show History from the Tools menu.

Note: If you see Settings instead of Tools on your AT&T Yahoo! Browser's menu bar, you have an older version of the browser. Click here to go to the tutorial for your browser.

    • Click the Pop-Up Blocker button in the browser's address bar, then select Show History from the menu.

Click the Pop-Up Blocker button, then select Show History from the menu.

The Pop-Up Blocker History window shows lists of pop-ups that have been blocked and allowed during the current AT&T Yahoo! Browser session.

The list of blocked pop-ups appears at the top of the window. The list of allowed pop-ups appears at the bottom of the window.

  2. To view any pop-up window, select its entry in either the allowed list or the blocked list, then click the View button.

Select a pop-up in the list, then click the View button.

The content of the pop-up window appears in a separate AT&T Yahoo! Browser window.

  3. To make sure that the domain of a pop-up window that Pop-Up Blocker allowed this session is blocked in the future, select its entry in the allowed list, then click the Block button.

Select a previously allowed pop-up, then click the Block button.

  4. In the dialog box that appears, confirm that you want to block this domain by clicking Yes.

  5. To have Pop-Up Blocker allow in the future pop-ups from a domain that it blocked this session, select the window's entry in the blocked list, then click the Allow button.

Select a previously blocked pop-up, then click the Allow button.

  6. When you're done with the Pop-Up Blocker History window, click the Close button to close it.

What's Next
