When you're browsing the Internet, pop-up windows can be very distracting. Pop-Up Blocker is a feature of the AT&T Yahoo! Browser that lets you manage pop-up windows. Pop-Up Blocker stops many types of windows that try to open automatically on top of the browser window, including:
There are some types of windows that Pop-Up Blocker does not block. For example, it allows windows that open because you click a link in the browser. Other types of windows that Pop-Up Blocker allows include:
You can turn Pop-Up Blocker off and on and adjust other Pop-Up Blocker settings whenever you want.
Be sure that the AT&T Yahoo! Browser is installed on each computer where you want to use Pop-Up Blocker.
Toggle the Turn On/Turn Off button on the Online Protection dashboard.

By toggling the Tools > Pop-Up Blocker > Enable Pop-Up Blocker menu item.

Note: If you see Settings instead of Tools on your AT&T Yahoo! Browser's menu bar, you have an older version of the browser. Click here to go to the tutorial for your browser.

A checkmark in front of the menu item indicates that Pop-Up Blocker is on.
You can check the status of Pop-Up Blocker at any time by holding the cursor over the Pop-Up Blocker button in the browser's address bar.
