Remember that you can also simply remove an author's FrontPage publishing privileges by unassigning that author in subwebs to which he's been assigned. Unassigning an author prevents him from using FrontPage to publish to your site but allows you to reassign him to a subweb later without having to re-create the author account. To delete an author permanently from your account:

1. Click the "FrontPage" link on the Create & Update tab of your GeoCities Control Panel.

2. Click the "Manage Authors" link.

3. Locate the author whose account you want to delete and click the corresponding "Delete" link. This author will no longer have FrontPage access to your site.
