| Getting Started | Changing the Access Level | Customising BT Yahoo! Services |
If your children are assigned to the Kids or Teens access levels, they’re blocked from using any BT Yahoo! Services, such as Message Boards, while older teens have full access to these services.
You can customise your children’s Internet access to allow the younger ones to use one or more BT Yahoo! Services or to block access to particular services for your older teens. For example, if your 12 year old’s teacher uses a Yahoo! Group to communicate homework assignments to the students, you need to give access to Groups so your child can get these assignments.
Go to the settings page for the child whose access you want to customise. (Remind me how.)
Click the Edit Settings button next to the BT Yahoo! Services gauge.
The page that appears shows your child’s current settings for BT Yahoo! Services. When a box is checked, your child is blocked from accessing the associated service. An empty box means that you child has full access to the service.
Check or uncheck the box in front of each service that you want to customise for your child.
Click the Save Settings button to save your changes. You’re returned to your child’s settings page, which shows that you’ve customised the default settings for his access level.

Customised web filter settings, email access, and BT Yahoo! Messenger access for your family members is similar to customising BT Yahoo! Services. See the tutorials listed below for the details.
