Changing the Overall Access Level

Each household member is assigned an age-based access level for Parental Controls. As your children grow older, you will probably want to reassign them to access levels for more mature users.

 

Here’s How

  1. If you want to change the household member’s overall access level, for example, from Kids to Teens, click the Change? link near the top of the page.

    Click the Change link to go to the Access Level page for your child.

  2. On the settings page that appears, select the new access level setting for your child.

    Click the radio button in front of an access level to select it.

  3. Click the Save Settings button. Your child’s settings page now displays the new access level.

What’s Next

You don’t need to do anything else in order for your child’s new access level to take effect. However, if you want to, you can further customise different aspects of his or her Internet access as described in the tutorials below.
