Changing the Skin

A skin in BT Yahoo! Messenger provides the border and content colour of all your Messenger windows. Similar to changing the "Appearance" of all your PC windows through the PC’s Settings option, changing the skin changes the look of Messenger windows.

The BT Yahoo! Messenger application includes three skins:

Classic Classic skin
Indigo Indigo skin
Maverick Blue Maverick Blue skin

Use the Change Skin window to change the skin as often as you like.

Notes:

Changing the skin to Indigo or Maverick Blue does not change the colour of your non-BT Yahoo! Messenger windows. Conversely, when you change the appearance of non-BT Yahoo! Messenger windows, your Messenger windows remain unchanged.

When you change the skin to Classic, the Messenger windows take on whatever theme you select for the system.

 

Here’s How

  1. In your Messenger window, select Change Skin from the Messenger menu.

    The Change Skin window opens.

  2. In the Change Skin window, select a skin from the Skin pull-down list, then click the OK button.

    Select a skin from the Skin pull-down list.

    All of your BT Yahoo! Messenger windows update with the new skin.
