Sharing an IMVironment

Once you enable IMVironments, you can begin sharing them with your contacts during instant messaging.

Tip: You can’t share an IMVironment with Windows Live™ Messenger contacts.

 

Here’s How

  1. In the instant message window, click the IMVironment button.

    Click the IMVironment button.

  2. Select an IMV from the displayed menu.

    Select from the IMV menu.

    The selected IMV displays in the conversation area of the IM window, even if you’re already conversing with a contact.

    The IMVironment displays in the conversation area of the instant message window.

    Tip: To change the IMV, follow the steps above.
