Avoiding Computer Viruses Receiving Attachments Opening and Saving Attachments Sending Attachments

Sending Attachments With Outgoing Email Messages

You can send all types of files as attachments, including word processor or spreadsheet documents, audio files, image files (such as .bmp, .jpg, .gif), web pages saves as HTML files, and more.

After you log in to your BT Yahoo! Mail account, simply compose your message and add your attachment.

Notes: With BT Yahoo! Mail, you need not do anything to have effective email virus protection. Anti-virus software in BT Yahoo! Mail automatically detects and cleans viruses in incoming and outgoing email and attachments.

Please be aware, however, that not all viruses can be detected and cleaned. There is a risk involved whenever you download email attachments to your computer or send email attachments to others. As provided in the Terms of Service, neither BT Yahoo! nor its licensors are responsible for any damages caused by your decision to do so.

BT Yahoo! Mail does not scan PDF, GIF, or JPG files for viruses.
