Deleting External Accounts

If you no longer want to use an external email account for sending or receiving messages through BT Yahoo! Mail, you can delete it from your account list.

 

Here’s How

  1. Go to the Mail Accounts page in BT Yahoo! Mail. (Remind me how.)

  2. Select the mail account that you want to delete from the list of accounts, then click the Delete button.

    Select the mail account to delete, then click the Delete button.

  3. When prompted, confirm that you do want to delete this account from your list.

    BT Yahoo! Mail confirms that it has deleted the account.

    BT Yahoo! Mail confirms that it has deleted the account.

 

What’s Next

Once you delete an external email account from your list, you can no longer use BT Yahoo! Mail to check for new messages or to send messages using the email address on that account.
