Setting Photos Options

You can change the default Photos Sidebar module behaviour by specifying your module preferences.

 

Here's How

  1. Make sure that Photos is the active module.

  2. Click the >> button at the top of the Photos Sidebar module, and select Options from the menu.

  3. In the Display Settings section, check the boxes next to the display options that you want to enable:

    • Check the box next to Display drop target icon on top of photo to display a target icon on top of the photo displayed in your Sidebar.
    • Check the box next to Display photo details to display any available information about the photo displayed in the Sidebar, such as the photo title (or name of the file), the name of the album, and the description.

  4. In the Slideshow Setting section, select a speed for your slideshows from the pull-down menu, and then select the slideshow options you want to enable.

  5. In the Albums section, select the albums you want to include on your Photos Sidebar module.

  6. When you finish making your selections, click the OK button.

 

What's Next

Click the Play button, and enjoy a slideshow while you are browsing the Internet.

Words to Know

  • Active module: the module currently displayed in the active content area of the BT Yahoo! Sidebar.
  • Album: a container within BT Yahoo! Photos for organising image files.
  • Slideshow: a self-running presentation that displays larger versions of the photos, one at a time, on a BT Yahoo! Photos page.
  • Thumbnail: a small version of an image, often linked to a larger version.
