Using the Photos Sidebar Module

Adding Photos From Your Computer

You can easily add photos to the Photos Sidebar module from your computer's file system. When you add photos to your Photos Sidebar module, they are uploaded to an album in yourBT Yahoo! Photos, which offers a variety of additional benefits.

Here's How

Make sure that Photos is the active module.
Click add photos at the top of the Photos Sidebar module.

The Photo Selection window appears.
Navigate to the folder containing the photo(s) you want to add.

Tip: The photo must be in JPEG format, and the file name must have the .jpg extension.
Select a photo and click the Select button, or simply click the Select all photos button to select all of the photos in the current folder.

The Sidebar Photos Upload - Select an Album window appears.
Select the album to which you want to add the photo, or click Create a new album and enter a name for it.
If you always want to add new photos to the same album, check the box next to Always upload photos to the currently selected album..., and then click the OK button.

A message informs you when the upload is complete.
Click the OK button.

The new photo appears on your Photos Sidebar module.

Album: a container within BT Yahoo! Photos for organising image files.
Folder: a container that holds individual elements specific to the context; for example, email messages in BT Yahoo! Mail or bookmarks in the Bookmarks Sidebar module.
