Using the Photos Sidebar Module

Overview

BT Yahoo! Photos is a service that allows you to view your digital photos, organise them into albums, and share them with your friends. The Photos Sidebar module lets you to do all this from the Sidebar without opening the full BT Yahoo! Photos application. In fact, adding photos is much easier with the Photos Sidebar module, because you can drag and drop them directly from your computer's file system.

The Photos Sidebar module has two views:

Collapsed as a mini-module

The Photos mini-module appears as a button that you can click to make Photos the active Sidebar module.

Tip: If you drag photos to the Photos mini-module, Photos becomes the active module.
Expanded as the active module

When Photos is the active Sidebar module, it displays one of your photos. You can view your photos one at a time or in a slideshow.

Here's How

Open your Browser, sign in to BT Yahoo! Online, and make sure that the Sidebar is open and that Photos is the active module.

Click one of the buttons at the top of the Photos Sidebar module to:

	Previous Photo - Displays the previous photo in the album.
	Play Slideshow - Displays all of the photos in the album as a slideshow.
	Next Photo - Displays the next photo in the album.

Album: a container within BT Yahoo! Photos for organising image files.
Mini-module: an application module that can be displayed in the BT Yahoo! Sidebar.
Module: a small version of a BT Yahoo! Online service that can be displayed in the active content area of the BT Yahoo! Sidebar.
Sidebar: a customisable area in the BT Yahoo! Browser or Internet Explorer where you can display information or applications that you use often, such as BT Yahoo! Mail, BT Yahoo! Messenger, and BT Yahoo! Photos.
Slideshow: a self-running presentation that displays larger versions of the photos, one at a time, on a BT Yahoo! Photos page.
Thumbnail: a small version of an image, often linked to a larger version.
