Retrieving Non-Yahoo! Mail
Once you’ve set up BT Yahoo! Mail to access a non-Yahoo! email account, it’s easy to retrieve messages from the account. BT Yahoo! Mail fetches messages from your non-BT Yahoo! (POP) mail accounts only when you request it. It doesn’t automatically retrieve external mail when you check your BT Yahoo! Mail account for new messages.
Here’s How

On the left side of the main BT Yahoo! Mail page, click the down-arrow on the Check Mail button to reveal the Check Mail options.

Select the first option to check your regular BT Yahoo! Mail only, which is the same as clicking the Check Mail button.

Select the next option, Check All Accounts, to check all mail accounts listed, including any non-Yahoo! POP mail account(s) listed.

Below the line is a list of the external POP mail accounts that you have set up.

Click the name of the non-BT Yahoo! POP mail account that you want to check.
BT Yahoo! Mail retrieves messages from the selected account to your BT Yahoo! Mail Inbox.
What’s Next
In addition to reading messages sent to your non-Yahoo! account, you can also send messages through the BT Yahoo! Mail using your non-BT Yahoo! email address.
