| Introducing the Drafts and Sent Folders | Saving a Message to the Drafts Folder | Working With Messages in the Drafts Folder | Working With Messages in the Sent Folder |
Sometimes you want to save a copy of a message that you’re writing before you send it. For example, you might need to stop in the middle of writing the message to do something else, or you may want to save one version of the text while you try out a rewrite. You can save a message in progress as a draft in your Drafts folder. Later, you can open the message, finish writing it, and then send it, or even save a newer version to the Drafts folder again.
BT Yahoo! Mail helps you by automatically saving a draft of your composition periodically. To be sure that your draft includes everything you’ve written, save a draft yourself.
Open a new message tab and begin writing your message.
After a bit of time, Mail saves a draft and displays a message telling you so at the top of the page.
When you’re ready to save your unsent message, click the Save Draft button at the top of the tab (or type Ctrl+s).

BT Yahoo! Mail saves the message in your Drafts folder but leaves the message tab open. You can use the Drafts folder to save your message so far and continue working on it, or you can close the message and open it later.
To close the draft message tab, click the X button on the tab (or type Ctrl+\).

Tip: Messages remain in the Drafts folder until you send or delete them.
You can open your draft email message and revise, complete, and send it.
