When you read or send an email message, you can add the sender to your BT Yahoo! Contacts.
To add a contact when reading a message:
Open a message in BT Yahoo! Mail.
Click the add contact icon (
) next to the sender’s email address.

The Add Contact window opens, showing the contact’s email address and name.
Tip: Whenever you see a contact card icon (
) after a person’s name in an email message, you can click the icon to see that person’s contact information.
Enter additional information about the new contact in this window if you want, then click the Save button.

The icon in the message header changes to a contact card (
), indicating that the sender is now in BT Yahoo! Contacts.
To add a contact when sending a message:
Compose and send a message to one or more people using BT Yahoo! Mail.
After the message is successfully sent, the Message Sent page shows you a list of all the recipients. If any of these people are not in BT Yahoo! Contacts, you can add them at this time.
For each addressee that you want to add to BT Yahoo! Contacts, check the box in front of the person’s email address and, if you wish, type the contact’s name.

When you’re done typing the information to be added to BT Yahoo! Contacts, click the OK button.
To have BT Yahoo! Mail automatically add any unknown recipients to your BT Yahoo! Contacts, check the box on the Message Sent display. This means you won’t have to manually add a new contact each time you send a message to a new person.
Once you have your contact information entered, you can print it.
