When you reply to an email sent to one of your disposable addresses, BT Yahoo! Mail automatically uses that disposable address as the From address. Neither your name nor your primary BT Yahoo! Mail address is not revealed, unless you manually choose to use them in your reply.
You can also protect your main BT Yahoo! Mail address by using a disposable address when you send a new message. To do this, you must be sure that the disposable address is enabled for sending email.
Go to the AddressGuard page in the BT Yahoo! Mail. (Remind me how.)
Select the address that you want to use for sending messages in the list of disposable addresses.
The options summary for the address shows you if it can be used for sending messages.

If the disposable address you want to use does not permit sending messages, you need to change this option.
With the address selected in the list, click the Edit button.

On the Edit Disposable Address page, select the Allow mail to be sent from this address option.
If you want, you can also specify the name that will appear in the From header of messages that you send using this address.
Click the Save Changes button to update the options for this disposable address.
This address now appears in the From menu on the BT Yahoo! Mail New Email Message tab. You can choose it instead of your regular BT Yahoo! Mail address whenever you compose a new message.

Once a disposable address has served its purpose, it’s easy to delete.
