| Adding Sub Accounts | Accessing a Sub Account’s Mail | Deleting Sub Accounts |
BT Yahoo! allows you, as a primary account holder, to add up to ten sub accounts to your main account. Each sub account is a fully functional, stand-alone BT Username, with its own BT Yahoo! Mail mailbox.
There are two main reasons for creating sub accounts:
To provide separate email accounts for all members of your household.
To allow each member of your household to have his or her own BT Yahoo! Home Page.
To protect your "real" BT Yahoo! Mail address by using an alternate mail account for some email transactions. (AddressGuard is probably a better solution for this use. See the Using Disposable Addresses tutorial for information about AddressGuard.)
Make sure that you are signed in to BT Yahoo! as the primary account holder. Only the primary account can create sub accounts.
Click the My Account link, which is located at the top of most BT Yahoo! pages, such as the BT Yahoo! Mail page.
Click the Manage Sub Accounts quick link.
Note: Only primary members have the Manage Sub Accounts link. If you are signed in using a sub account, you won’t have this option.
In the Sub Accounts pane, click the Create New Sub Account button.

The Sub Account Creation page appears in which you must provide a new BT Username and other information about the person for whom you are creating the account.
Complete the information in this form, then click Create Sub Account.

When the new account is successfully created, you’ll see a page that confirms the new account and gives you the user profile as well.
Each sub account that you create has most of the same BT Yahoo! Mail features as the primary member’s account, including an inbox, BT Yahoo! Contacts, and calendar that are accessible from any web-connected computer.
