Manually Synchronising Your Data

You can manually synchronise your data at anytime, even if you allow Yahoo! Autosync to automatically sync.

 

Here’s How

  1. Click the Yahoo! Autosync icon on the taskbar, then select Sync Now from the menu.

    Click the Yahoo! Autosync taskbar icon, then select Sync Now from the menu.

    Tips:

    If you are syncing to your Palm Desktop, be sure the application is closed. Autosync can’t sync to it if the application is open.

    Can’t find the Autosync icon? Click the double arrows near the lower left of the taskbar. This expands the area where you should see the icon.

    Click the double arrows in the taskbar.

    If you don’t find the icon there, you probably need to restart the Autosync application by double-clicking the desktop icon.

    Autosync begins synchronising your data and displays its progress on your computer screen.

What’s Next

After you synchronise your applications, you can access the same contact, calendar, and other data from your synchronised BT Yahoo! applications or from your other applications and remote devices.
