You might like to include common information that’s shared by most of your contacts, such as partner’s name, kids’ names, why you like this person...you get the idea. You can do this in your BT Yahoo! Address Book by creating custom information fields that appear in the Notes section of the Add/Edit Contacts page. Once you add a custom field to one contact, you can add it to any other contact you choose.
Add or Edit a contact.
Click the Add Contact button.

Or
Click the Edit link to the right of a contact’s name.

The Add/Edit Contact page opens.
Scroll to the Notes section, then click the Add a Custom Field button.

If this is your first custom field, the Add a New Field window opens; otherwise, a new field opens below your existing custom fields.
If a new field opens below an existing field, click the arrow next to the custom label of the new field, then select New Field to open the Add a New Field window.

In the Add a New Field window, type a name for the field in the box, then click the OK button.

The new field has your new label, and the new custom field has been added to the pull-down list.
Type a value in the box to the right of the field name.

Note: You must type a value for your new custom field. If you don’t, the field will no longer exist once you exit this page.
Repeat the above steps to add additional custom fields if you like.
When you’ve completed the contact information, click the Save button.

After you add one or more custom fields, you can add the same fields to other contacts through the Add/Edit Contact page. Click the Add a Custom Field button, select an existing field from the pull-down list, then type a value.
