The Ad Group Settings feature allows you to review and change the current settings associated with your ad group. You will also have the ability to copy, move or delete your ad group.

1. Click the "Campaigns" tab.
2. Choose a campaign.
3. Choose an ad group.
4. Click the Ad Group Settings button or drop-down located in the upper right-hand corner (above the graph). You will have the option to:
1. Review all of your ad group settings.
2. Edit the general information associated with this ad group.
3. Change the tactic settings associated with this ad group.
4. Copy the ad group and assign it to a new campaign.
5. Move the ad group to a new campaign.
6. Delete the ad group from this campaign.
5. Select the change to the ad group setting that you would like to perform. All of the functions are described below.

Review Ad Group Settings

1. To review all of your ad group settings, click the Ad Groups Settings button (not the drop-down arrow).
2. Here, you will be able to review and edit your general information and tactic settings, as well as copy, move or delete your ad group.

Edit General Information

On the General Information page, you can:

• Change the ad group name.
• Turn the ad group status “on” or “off.”
• Optimize your ad display. This means that Yahoo! Search Marketing will optimize the ads within this ad group based on their performance. To learn more, please view the Ad Optimization article.
• Add or remove the ad group from your watch list. To learn more, please refer to the Top List and Watched List article.

Change Tactic Settings

On the Ad Group Tactic Settings page, you can:

• Turn Sponsored Search “on” or “off” for this ad group. You can also:
• Set the Sponsored Search bid for this ad group.
• Select the Advanced or Standard match type for your ad group.
• Insert excluded words if you are using the Advanced match type and would like to exclude your listing from showing up on certain terms. Please note that any excluded terms you have set at the account level will also be applied. To learn more, see our Tactic Settings article.
• Turn Content Match “on” or “off” for this ad group, as well as set a Content Match bid for this ad group.

Copy the Ad Group

On the Copy Ad Group page, you can make a copy of an ad group and assign it to a different campaign. A copy includes settings, ads and keywords from the source ad group. (Note: Previously deleted ads and keywords will not be copied.)

Move Ad Group

On the Move Ad Group page, you can move an ad group to a different campaign. This will move the settings, ads and keywords from the source ad group. (Note: Previously deleted ads and keywords will not be moved).

Delete Ad Group

Clicking “Delete” will delete the ad group from the campaign. To confirm deletion of the ad group, click “Submit.” Please note that once an ad group is deleted, it cannot be undeleted.

If you choose to delete an ad group, you will still have access to that ad group’s historical performance data.
