I know where I want to go. Will you make my booking?

Yahoo! Canada Travel puts you in control by providing you with the tools and resources to search for fares and make travel reservations yourself.

Here is a step by-step guide to making reservations on Yahoo! Canada Travel:

To book a flight:

  1. Go to Yahoo! Canada Travel. Click on \"Air\" (Note: At the top of the screen, please choose between \"Round Trip,\" \"One Way,\" or \"Multi-City\").
  2. Enter in the number of passengers, age of passengers, city names or airport codes (Note: If you are planning to travel within Canada or the U.S., and you have flexible travel dates, click \"Show me Airlines\" after entering your cities. This will find the airports with the lowest fares between those cities).

If you are planning a multi-city trip, or if your travel is outside of Canada or the US, or on a specific date, please proceed to step 4.

  3. Enter the dates and times you wish to travel and any other information about the trip.
  4. Click \"Show me available Flights.\"
  5. You will be presented with flight times -- there is no obligation to buy at this time.

To search for a hotel:

  1. Click on \"Hotel\" from Yahoo! Canada Travel.
  2. Enter in the city name or airport code and dates that you will be staying.
  3. Enter in any other optional information about your hotel.
  4. Click \"Show me Available Hotels\" to see hotels and rates that fit your criteria.

To search for a rental car:

  1. Click on \"Car\" from Yahoo! Canada Travel.
  2. Enter the city name or airport code and dates that you need to car.
  3. Enter any other optional information about your car.
  4. Click \"Show me Available Cars\" to see the cars and rates that fit your criteria.

To book a train ticket:

  1. Go to Yahoo! Canada Travel. Click on \"Rail\". Enter in the number of passengers and the age of passengers. Then select the class you would prefer to travel. Click on the \"What's the difference\" link to find out a discription of each class.
  2. Booking a trip by train requires you to know if your trip is broken into segments or routes. Please note that you may need to enter an intermediate point to change trains. The coloured lines on the route map indicate each train route. If your cities are on different coloured routes, a change of trains is required. (For example, if you want to go from Quebec to Windsor, you need to request Quebec to Montreal, then Montreal to Toronto, then Toronto to Windsor). Likewise, for roundtrips, you must enter each train segment in each direction. Please allow a minimum of 30 minutes to change trains.
  3. Once you have broken your trip down into segments (that is if your trip includes more than one route) fill in the city you are leaving from and city you are going to (within this segment).
  4. Next fill in the departing date and time and then submit. There is no obligation to buy at this time.

Currently Yahoo! Canada Travel does not offer one-way car rentals. We apologize for any inconvenience.
