Get Yahoo! Canada to come up immediately as soon as you access the World Wide Web. To do this, you'll need to make Yahoo! Canada your startup home page.
In Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.0:
- Pull down the Edit menu and select Preferences.
- Under "Home page," type in "http://ca.yahoo.com"
- Hit OK.
For Netscape 2.0/3.0:
- Pull down the Options menu and select General Preferences.
- Select the Appearance tab sheet.
- For the Browser Starts with option select the Home Page Location button and enter http://ca.yahoo.com in the location box.
- Select Save Options from the Options menu.
The next time you start Netscape, you'll go directly to Yahoo! Canada.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0:
- Pull down the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
- Under "Home page," type in "http://ca.yahoo.com"
- Hit OK.
For Explorer 4.0:
- Pull down the View menu and select Internet Options.
- Under "Home page," type in "http://ca.yahoo.com"
- Hit OK.
For Explorer 2.0/3.0:
- Go to the home page of Yahoo! Canada. (http://ca.yahoo.com)
- Pull down the View menu and select Options.
- Select the Start Page tab sheet.
- Click on the Use Current button.
- Click on the Apply button, then the OK button.
The next time you start Microsoft Internet Explorer, you'll go directly to Yahoo! Canada.
