• To enable Java:
  Go to the "Edit" menu, choose "Preferences" option, select the "Advanced" category and make sure "Enable Java" is checked.

• To enable Smartupdating:
  Netscape 4.0: Go to the "Edit" menu, choose "Preferences" option, select the "Advanced" category and make sure "Enable AutoInstall" is checked.

  Netscape 4.5+: Go to the "Edit" menu, choose "Preferences" option, select the "Advanced" category and make sure "Enable SmartUpdate" is checked.
