How do I share files?

Share items with people in two ways: give them access to the folders in your briefcase, or email them the links to the items.

\"Sharing\" is associated with the contents of a folder. While creating a folder you determine who to share it with -- whether it be everybody, nobody, or only specific people.

If you select \"Private\" for your folder or album, nobody can access it.

If you select \"Everyone\" for your folder, anybody can access it, even if they don't have a Yahoo! ID.

If you select \"Friends\" for your folder or album, only the people whose Yahoo! IDs you list will be able to access it.

At any time, you can change who has access to a folder by clicking on \"Edit\" next to the folder or album name (on the front page of your briefcase).

The easiest way to point somebody to your folder is to copy its URL and send it to them. Or, tell a person to go to the front page of your briefcase where they can find the folders or albums they have permission to access.
