Games purchased won't reactivate

Purchased roughly 32 games from Yahoo US from 1995-2010. Had to format C: and upon installing these games the "already bought activate" button simply tells me am not connected to the internet...obviously i am...

Only by chance in these forums i discovered yahoo handed off suport to Oberon, after waiting a month for yahoo US to reply, which never came....

Oberon replaced a few but doesn't seem to want to honor the rest. Their site message claims no records are avaliable prior to May 2011.

Now are you kidding here? Yahoo sold millions of games but lost the transaction records??

So are we consumers faced with lack of support and the insult of being told their not connected to the net when attempting to reactivate what has been purchased? In my mind this seems one big fraud that involves 100's of millions.

Certainly it becomes fraud when your original message was "buy this game for 19.99"...seems to me i was only renting it as long as yahoo chose to retain the reciepts on their servers.

PLACE YOUR MOUSE CURSOR IN THE WHITE AREA BELOW THE CHAT LOBBY. This is the area that is good-for-nothing.

HOLD CTRL button on your keyboard. Click the + button two or three times. The area where the tables are for joining games, will unfold with each click.

Good luck hope this helps you. I can only speak from my experience on Mozilla Firefox browser.

I can only see 1/8 of the pool page, which of course is an issue when I want to play. I have recently updaed Java so I know it is not that. I use Mozilla Firefox, which has nothing to do with it, because I use it all the time for pool.

Any help is loved.

I do not want MacAfee security on my computer. Java will not download an update unless I get this security at the same time. I have a paid security program installed on my computer. Does this mean I will no longer get to play Yahoo games? Is there another server other than Java for me to download? It looks like Java is trying to force me to use their security product along with a Java download.

Half Screen Fix (Workaround)

For everyone getting the half screen, please follow the below instructions. This was posted earlier today by CR, but a new post was never created making it difficult for users to find the solution.

All credit goes to original poster. I am just adding this for others who may not be able to search.

this works for ALL Browsers...goto room you want... click mouse in the Blank white area...NOT the chat box space....then hold down the CTRL button and using your mouse wheel..scroll up or down as needed to see most of the room and chat box...or hold down the CTRL button and tap the Plus + or Minus - untill you can see most :)

When I try to enter a room I get something that says Your security settings have blocked an application from running with an insecure or expired yre. Can anyone tell me what a yre is or how to fix this problem?

Majong Solitaire

When I log in to play Mahjong Solitaire, I now only get the top third of the screen. The rest is all completely white. I have not changed anything on my computer since the last time it worked. It has been happening since yesterday. Anybody have any suggestions? I am using Windows 8 and Explorer 10. I have already tried using a different browser (Firefox). Like I said, I have not changed computers, browsers, settings, or installed any additional security.

All game rooms are affected by this problem (multiplayer or single player rooms). Obviously the changes made were not tested before being deployed on large scale.

In the meantime, as league owners, we are left with trying to find temporary solutions for our members and trying to explain that yahoo is working on "improving our gaming experience" without any information whatsoever !!!

This is going on for 2 days now. Please fix this problem ASAP. You should restore the previous version, go back to the drawing board and only deploy when ready.
