 I completely agree.  The tablet version of the homepage is an absolute mess.  I have always had Yahoo as my homepage but I will be changing to msn or something else very shortly if this is not fixed.  Often the read only mode doesn't even sync up with the headline of the story.  I often like to share links to stories I find interesting with my friends but this is not possible on the tablet version of the website.  It seems that Yahoo keeps experimenting with this new format, continuously switching between the older, better version and the newer, crappier version.  It seems to me that if they conducted any user testing at all, these problems would have been caught.  Since the iPad recently even passed the iPhone in percentage of web browsing activity, you would think Yahoo would dedicate some resources to ensure their tablet homepage is the best representation of their product.
