Why can't I get into my favorite Gin playing room on Yahoo

for the last week or so, I have been unable to log in to my favorite gin room - the Battlefield - but I was able to log on to a couple of other tables (unfortunately, most of the rated players there had ratings much lower than mine, so it doesn't pay to play with them)

Today, I haven't been able to log on to ANY table - I got an error message about Java, which I have installed on my iMac and it's up to date. Is there something going on with Gin that I should know about?

I had the same problem with pryamids,text twist etc. I use firefox. Download java from their site then uninstall all java programs, then reinstall java from your downloads. this worked for me. Something to do with older versions. hope this helps................

i am unable to get into any of the pinochle lounges either. Either get a message that i am behind a firewall or games are down or a message about java also.

I cant get into the pinochle room. connection timed out This is disgusting.

I'm having the same problem getting into any Pinochle lounge.

Yes cant get into pinocle either, then when you do you get stuck or booted off completely cant get back then have to ff and lose your ratings do to no fault of your own its really starting to get on everyones nerves at this point either they need to fix it or just shut it down it is so aggravating

Yahoo please fix the problem with your card game lounges and another suggestion when you do fix Pinocle please find a way to boot people who stall 3 mins more then 3 times in a game. There are so many nasty ignorant people on there then they stall 3 min every time its thier turn. A good way to solve this problem once they stall more then 3 times in a single game they need to be booted off and cant return for 24 hours that will solve that problem.

has anyone found out whats with the pinocle rooms? and why is'nt there a support for these problems if everyone on here is asking questions where are the ans.!!
