Hi Irv,

Thank you for posting!

If every time you access Yahoo! you see the exact same content, this is most likely because you are viewing a cached copy of the webpage and not the live version. This will often happen if you bookmark or favorite a page on your browser, that is never updated properly.

Please try the below troubleshooting as it will often resolve this issue:

How to clear your browser's cookies and cache

I hope this helps! Please let me know either way!

Hi Irv,

If clearing your cache and cookies did not resolve this issue, then you will need to try a different browser to see if that helps. The homepage news changes constantly so it should never stay on the same content from one day to the next.

Another cause of this isssue would be if the Yahoo! Homepage is your browser's homepage and your browser is not allowing that page to update correctly. If this is the case, using a different browser should resolve this problem.

If using a different browser does not resolve the issue, then you should make sure you are actually visiting the real "yahoo.com." There have been instances of hackers creating false pages to steal page views and advertising revenue from large corporation, that look similar to the original but do not behave the same. You may also want to run a virus scan or several, as the behavior you've described is highly suspicious.

I hope that helps! Please let me know either way!

Hi Irv,

I checked your account and am not seeing any backend issues that would cause this to occur. This indicated that the issue is directly related to your computer. I highly recommend going through all these steps as they may resolve this issue:

Basic troubleshooting steps

Please let me know if that fixes it or not. Thanks!
