news stories link won't open

All the really dumb articles in "today" section will not open the link to the main part of the story.  Get a mesg saying "sorry, the page you requested was not found" every time, not just yahoo content.

But this is weird, with my laptop the link opens up. My problem is w/my desktop.

Could there be a virus that my 'defener' can't see? It's weird!!!

I've been having the exact same problem for 3-4 weeks on both my laptop (Windows 7) and my desktop (Windows XP).  Anybody know what's going on??

Similar issue, but not the same.  I have had this problem off and on and have no reason why it happens.  Also have and issue when I try to "Comment" on a news article and I see that I posted something, but cannot see the post.   Then to place a thumbs up or down I receive the message "OOPS TRY AGAIN: (CMT-AJ-REP-REMT). WHAT IS THE PROBLEM AND HOW TO SOLVE THIS?  I am running Windows 7 and the newest Firefox browser.

It's unfortunate that Yahoo users must rely on each other to try and solve Yahoo problems espcially since this is one that clearly needs direction from Yahoo.  But it's virtually impossible to contact Yahoo. I've been having the same problem with the 'Today' section on My Yahoo page for about 3 wks, now. I can only read the stories if I go on Yahoo.com. Yahoo must be aware of the problem and yet no fixes, notices, resolutions.

 Yesterday, my frustration led me to check out Google to change to my default homepage. I just hate creating new personal interests over, but I am tired of the glitch and the  invisibility of Yahoo 'help'.

I agree with you 100%.I have been with yahoo a very long time ? But NEVER have a tech person to answer me yet.does anyone Have a phone number for Tech Support in the "USA".I think IF "WE" would ALL Change to something "BETTER" Than YAHOO .we would got Tech Support. SO IF YAHOO doesnt FIX this CRAP !!!!!!!!!! i am moveing to msn or some thing !!!!  YAHOO GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF THE SANDS ! We need HELP on this PROBLEM!!

I have the same problem using IE9. It is ok with firefox, but firefox does not support certain parts of Norton.. It is also ok if you change your home page to Yahoo.uk
