Favorites Edit Gear icon Missing

My homepage gear icon, located to the right of the Yahoo! Sites or Favorites is missing.  I use Firefox browser.  This edit icon disappeared suddenly, & nothing I do retrieves it.  I want to delete some of my favorite sites, but can only add sites, not edit or delete them.

Thanks for using the configuration features of Yahoo!'s homepage!

I've checked out the front page today in Firefox (make sure you have the latest version) and the gear icon is appearing for me. Is this still occurring for you?

This issue is not associated with running the current version of firefox. I am running the current version and am having the exact same issue.

My edit gear is missing too.  When I closed firefox and then re-opened it, the whole yahoo homepage was different (worse) and not only is my edit gear missing, but all my favorites are no longer in view.  I have to click "more" to see the rest and scrolling up and down the page is annoying and doesn't always work.  What happened???

I have the same problem but only when loading under Firefox, not when I load under AOL

This issue seems to only occur when using firefox. i say this because when i start ie and load yahoo.com, the gear icon is peresent and works as advertised.

does anyone have or know the fix for firefox?
